Fashion doesn’t exist without the body, only if clothes are being worn on the body they communicate to their fullest extent. There is an additional field to be explored in the fashion industry. Designing with the body instead of only on the body, to make clothing more interactive and the communication of the wearer more sensible and suitable for different situations. It is important to be aware of what a design does to the body and its movements. Not only from the perspective of controlling and creating these movements, but using the natural way of being as well. It is time to start rewarding our natural body communication, the body language, instead of only correcting and moulding it into something artificial.
Start designing with the body, not only on the body.
