2020 has opened our eyes to the importance of human contact. Not being able to touch, hug and hold our loved ones has put a serious strain on our mental wellbeing. It is not a luxury, it is in our nature to long for physical contact and human interaction.

Therefore, we feel the need to acknowledge these fundamental, collective desires by giving them a voice in our work. This is not a new normal but a temporary adjustment, right?
This is a collaborative project of photographer and Visual Artist Patrick Klein Meulenman and Malou Beemer, art director and concept & costume designer.
