Malou was part of the interdisciplinary team for Elitac Wearables. Working closely together with all the different departments, from R&D to communication and product design. As Designer Wearables, she mainly worked on the development of integrating electronics in textile pieces with a user-centred focus. Being involved in different projects in the sectors, Healthcare, Safety and Sports, made the UX element very important. Besides product development, Malou also supported the company in communication and strategy development.

“I have had the pleasure to work together with Malou, during a period in which she was a great support in branding and communication tasks. She is always mindful of deadlines and does not shy away from bringing innovative ideas to the table. Malou is able to approach her work whole-heartedly and is incredibly in tune with future developments in the fashion industry related to technology and sustainability, in particular with reference to designing for the Circular Economy. I know Malou to be driven and passionate about sustainability, ethical standards and the integration of cross-disciplinary approaches to fashion and design (next to her design skills, she also has great communication skills). In addition, she has an aptitude for professionality and beams warmth and friendliness, which has the people she works with naturally gravitate towards her.”
